Iowa State wrapped up the first portion of their season tonight, beating North Dakota State 22-13 in Fargo, N.D. The win brings the Cyclones to 6-1 to start the season, one of their best starts in recent history.

Senior Boaz Beard was back in competition for the first time this season tonight, after suffering an elbow injury earlier in the year. Beard won his match 2-1.

All-American Kyven Gadson was also in the lineup again tonight, after not competing last weekend in the Cliff Keen Invite in Las Vegas. Gadson pinned Colt Castelsbury in just 25 seconds, sealing the win for the team.

Earl Hall, Gabe Moreno, Logan Molina and Tanner Weatherman also recorded wins for the Cyclones.

Iowa State now enters a small break in their season, with its next competition on Jan. 1 at the Southern Scuffle in Tennessee.
