Freshman guard Jadda Buckley was named Big 12 Freshman of the Week after her performance in the Cyclone Challenge last weekend. This is her second Big 12 weekly award this season.

Buckley scored double-digit points in both games and shot 70 percent from beyond the arc during the tournament.

Against Holy Cross on Saturday, Buckley scored 12 points and had a career-high four three-pointers. She added another 19 points against William & Mary on Sunday and made three of four from three-point range.

Buckley averages almost 11 points per game and helped the No. 14 ISU women’s basketball team to an undefeated non-conference schedule.
