The ISU wrestling team improved its record to a perfect 5-0 record on Sunday, after it defeated Old Dominion 20-15 in Norfolk, Va.

Iowa State won five of its 10 matches with All-American Michael Moreno winning with a technical fall against Old Dominions Dillon Geoghegan. Freshman Earl Hall won by pin against Brandon Jeske.

Tanner Weatherman, Kyven Gadson, and Lelund Weatherspoon recorded the other three wins for the Cyclones.

The win marks the first time since 2010 that Iowa State has beaten Old Dominion, and the first time the Cyclones have started their season 5-0 since the 2007-08 season.

Iowa State will see action again next Sunday, when it hosts Iowa in the annual Cy-Hawk series.
