The ISU men’s cross-country started its season with a sweeping victory at the 4K Bulldog Classic on Friday at Ewing Park in Des Moines.

Sophomore Steve Dado won the event with a time of 10:49 and brothers Nick and Jordan Schulze came in fourth and fifth.

The Cyclones took first in the event with 23 points; Drake finished second with 45 points, and Northern Iowa came in third with 54 points.

The Cyclones next race is at the Iowa Black & Gold Invite on Sept. 13 in Iowa City.
