Conference woes continued for Iowa State after a 4-3 loss to Kansas in its regular season finale.

The Cyclones (8-13, 1-8 Big 12) end their season with a No. 9 ranking in the Big 12 after the loss to the Jayhawks (10-9, 2-7).

Meghan Cassens and Simona Cacciuttolo were victorious in their doubles match after winning the tiebreaker against the duo of Dylan Windom and Maria Jose Cardona. The Cyclones would eventually drop the doubles point to the Jayhawks.

On the singles side, the combined efforts of Ana Gasparovich, Emma Waites and Cacciuttolo were not enough to complete the comeback, as Kansas continued to build on their 1-0 lead by winning three of the six singles matches.

The Cyclones will head into the Big 12 Championship tournament Thursday, April 25, riding a two game losing streak.
