ISU football team to play Texas in Thursday night game

The Iowa State Cyclones played the Texas Longhorns Saturday, Nov. 10 at Darrell K Royal- Texas Memorial Stadium. The Cyclones were defeated 33-7.

The ISU football team’s game against Texas during the 2013 season will be played Thursday, Oct. 3 at Jack Trice Stadium in front of a national TV audience.

The game had originally been scheduled to be played on either Oct. 3 or Saturday, Oct. 5, and the Big 12 announced Thursday the game has been selected for the Thursday date.

The TV network and the time of the game still have not been released and will be announced at a later date.
