Men’s golf in 13th place at UTSA Invitational

The ISU men’s golf team sits in 13th place in a field of 14 teams Monday after two rounds at the UTSA Oak Ridge Invitational.

The team’s total score of 607 is 36 strokes behind meet leader, North Texas, which has a score of 571. Oklahoma and UTSA round out the top three with scores of 574 and 575 as well.

The Cyclones are led by sophomore Scott Fernandez with a score of 142, tied for fifth individually. Sam Daley, Collin Foster and Duncan Croudis finished out the scores for the Cyclones.

The team will play the third and final round Tuesday, with Blake Waller teeing off at 7:30 a.m.
