Hurricane Sandy canceled the Landfall Tradition in Wilmington, N.C., after the first round. Iowa State and the 16 other teams were unable to finish rounds two and three.

At the end of round one, Iowa State was tied with Northwestern for 10th place. Fellow Big 12 competitor, Oklahoma State, took first in the meet.

Sasikarn On-lam finished round one in 15th place, the highest place for Iowa State in this meet. Prima Thammaraks finished individually in 23rd.

Chonlada Chayanun, Punpaka Phutumabamrung and Cajsa Persson were also competing at the Landfall Tradition.

Although Hurricane Sandy caused the meet to be finished prematurely, this meet wraps up the fall season for the ISU women’s golf team.

Iowa State will begin competition again in its spring season beginning Feb. 3 at the Dual Match in West Palm Beach, Fla.
