In the fall, Iowa State will officially have its largest, incoming freshman class. And according to PrepVolleyball.com, this season could serve quite promising for the Cyclones.

“The Cyclones could field a pretty imposing team with their 2012 freshman class alone,” PrepVolleyball.com’s recruiting scouts reported. “It will certainly be their biggest and best class since coach Christy Johnson-Lynch’s arrival in Ames.”

PrepVolleyball.com’s top-25 recruiting class list posted Iowa State at the No. 6 position, the highest in school history.

The highest recruit coming to Ames will be Andie Malloy. Malloy was the No. 35 recruit in the nation, and has special talents all around.

PrepVolleyball.com reported that Malloy can set, hit, ball handle and win at high levels. Malloy has also seen international competition.

The incoming class has landed the Cyclones a top-25 ranking for the fifth year in a row. The new athletes have a high level of national recruits as well.
