2011 Ladies Expo to show community what businesses have to offer

Mackenzie Nading

The third annual Ladies Expo aims to show the Ames community and ISU students what area businesses have to offer, especially those with services aimed at women.

This year, the expo will host a majority of different entertaining events such as informational presentations from the Ames area Hy-Vee stores, JAX Outdoor Clothing, SkinSolutions and Cardinal Gymnastics. The on-campus improvisation group, Grandma Mojo’s Moonshine Revival, will be performing, as well as the acapella group All in Moderation. And as an extra bonus, door prizes will be given away throughout the night to those in attendance.

Although this event is entitled Ladies Expo, anyone is allowed to attend. Tickets are on sale now, and each ticket will include one complimentary beverage and complimentary food service from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
