No more rumors. No more speculation.

Questions regarding the future of the Big 12 may have been answered Thursday morning.

Just one day after the Nebraska Board of Regents reportedly agreed to move to the Big Ten, Colorado jumped to the Pac-10.

The two schools are the only ones to officially leave the Big 12.

No news has come from any of the other schools — Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Missouri, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State — rumored to leave the conference. However, those schools are expected to announce whether or not they intend to leave the Big 12 soon.

Where does this leave schools such as Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas and Kansas State? Keep checking back to find out.

A news conference will be broadcast live at 1 p.m. Friday regarding the University of Colorado’s decision to leave the Big 12.

In a news release from the CU athletics website, commissioner Larry Scott said, “The University of Colorado is a great fit for the Conference both academically and athletically … we are incredibly excited to welcome Colorado to the Pac-10.”

1:30 p.m.: Oklahoma State the next to leave?

Tmz.com is reporting Oklahoma State will be the next school to leave for the Pac-10.

The site used a source from inside the Oklahoma State athletic department.

The move is a “done deal,” and it is “just a matter of time” before an official announcement is made by Oklahoma State, according to the source.

If this report is true, this would mark the third school to officially leave the Big 12 for a different conference. It would also be the second school to leave for the Pac-10.

4 p.m.: Nebraska in? Missouri out?

Reports that are coming in now have the Big Ten only targeting Nebraska, not Nebraska and Missouri.

The popular belief was both Big 12 north rivals would move to the Big Ten, but now that scenario looks less and less likely.

This may leave the Big 12 with five teams left instead of the previously believed four.

Those teams could include: Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State and Missouri.
