For the first time in school history, the Iowa State volleyball team is ranked in the top 10 of the AVCA Coaches Poll.

The Cyclones (8-1) swept the Hawkeye Challenge in Iowa City this weekend and now sit at no. 10 after swapping places with Stanford in the most recent poll released yesterday.

Iowa State opens Big 12 Conference play this week with a home game against Colorado on Wednesday and a road trip to face no. 2 Texas on Friday night.
