Soul-rocker Joss Stone returns to the music scene for the first time in three years with her recently released album, “Introducing Joss Stone.”

Staying true to her roots, Stone’s third album delivers the necessities of any quality soul album. “Introducing Joss Stone” combines vintage soul, classic R&B sounds, harmonious collaborations and emotional lyrics.

In the seventh track on her album, “Music,” every line and harmony is infused with Stone’s passion. She sings “I’m so in love with my music/The way you keeping me moving/Ain’t nobody doing what you’re doing.”

In this rhythmic ballad, Stone’s soulful voice is featured alongside eight-time Grammy Award winning artist, Lauryn Hill.

“Girl They Won’t Believe It” also highlights the joy music can provide. With lyrics such as “Now I’m in love a deeper way/Tell me who would have thought this could satisfy me/All I need is a kiss from a melody,” this track surges with musical happiness.

Stone’s collaborations don’t stop with Hill. “Introducing Joss Stone” also features Grammy-nominated hip-hop artist Common. The two join forces in “Tell Me What We’re Gonna Do Now,” a traditional soul track about love and relationships.

Other tracks that are sure to be fan favorites include an upbeat, funky “Put Your Hands on Me” and “Arms Of My Baby,” an R&B-inspired song about escaping chaos and finding your way back.
