Iowa (12-10) – The Hawkeyes lost by 11 points at home to No. 2 Wisconsin, 57-46. While hosting the Badgers (21-2), Iowa’s defense found that Wisconsin forward Alando Tucker was too much for them to handle as he went 11-for-14 from the field.

The Hawkeyes then traveled to Michigan on Wednesday to take on conference rival Wolverines (16-7), and won, 69-62. On Saturday, the Hawkeyes take on the Indiana Hoosiers (16-5), whose defense, averaging 2.5 turnovers per game, is mesmerizing in comparison to Iowa’s offense, which has only managed to score about 68 points a game.

The Hawkeyes then travel to Minnesota next Wednesday to take on one of the few teams below them in the Big Ten Standings, the Minnesota Golden Gophers (9-13). Iowa’s forward, Tyler Smith, shouldn’t have any difficulties slashing through Minnesota’s weak defense.

UNI (15-7) – Tied for third in the Missouri Valley Conference, the Panthers have dropped their past two contests against conference opponents. They lost to Drake (13-9) on Saturday, 74-61, then to Wichita State (15-8) on Tuesday, 67-61. The Panthers hope to bounce back on the road this Saturday against Evansville (12-11) and next Monday against Indiana State (11-9).

Drake Bulldogs (12-11) – Drake forward Klayton Korver went 6-of-10 from beyond the arc as the Bulldogs defeated conference foe UNI, 74-61, on Saturday. The Bulldogs played host to the (16-7) Missouri State Bears on Wednesday but lost 87-82.

The Bulldogs will then play host to Creighton (14-7) on Saturday. Look for the Bulldogs to struggle, seeing as how the Jays are in second place within the Missouri Valley Conference and the Bulldogs are in the cellar.
