A group of architecture students built a chocolate grinder intended to symbolize masturbation. The piece was on display in Gallery 181-1 in the College of Design, and the students demonstrated how it works Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. It is titled “Come Grind Your Own Chocolate! An Auto-Erotic Installation.” The piece is a translation of artist Marchel Duchamp’s “Bachelor Machine from the Large Glass Project” The project was part of an independent study completed by seniors Beth Riesburg, Pamela O. Abulu, Eric Valder and Terrence Schroeder.
