Ames resident Valerie Williams performs a modern dance at the farmers’ market on Main Street Monday afternoon. She is doing a series of short dances around Ames this month. Her next appearance will be June 26 at the City Hall Courtyard at 12:30 p.m. Williams the founder of the Valerie Williams Co’Motion Dance Theater.
