IRHA to see bill on ‘Dining Dollars’

Amber Billings

New bills concerning a new food-service feature, the Inter-Residence Hall Association door policy and IRHA equipment will be introduced at tonight’s IRHA meeting.

The bill supporting “Dining Dollars” would allow students to spend $50 at food service, and they can add money on later if desired. The money will allow residents to pay for any guests who eat in the halls.

The IRHA door policy specifies what can be posted on residence-hall doors. It details what the procedures should be if a resident is offended by the content on the doors or if residents do not adhere to the rules.

The IRHA Internal Affairs Committee has already approved the policy.

A bill regarding the financing of an IBM Wordpad will be up for its first reading. The Wordpad will be used for the IRHA secretary to take the minutes of meetings.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the Wallace-Wilson Conference Room.
