* The CBS Sports Tour is coming to Iowa State to conduct sporting games and give away prizes. The activities begin Sept. 11 at 11:00 a.m., and wind down on Sept. 20 at 4:00 p.m.

The ISU Homecoming Committee is overseeing the games and will be donating all profits to local charities. Students representing the committee will be working at the game booth.

Kathryn Andre, an adviser on the SUB, is involved with the Homecoming Committee and the CBS Sports Tour. “I think it’s a great opportunity for Homecoming to give to charity,” Andre said.

* The recently concluded Club Fest was a big success, said SUB members Chad McFadden and Kathryn Healy. About 3,700 people were in attendance.

“It really went well. We’ll see more as we contact people on the list to see how beneficial it was,” Healy said.

* SUB also discussed moving its meetings to a more publicly accessible area. SUB member Denise Swanson said, “Accessibility is our main concern.”

It was agreed to try to acquire the Pine Room in the Memorial Union for future meetings.

SUB meets every Monday at 5:45 p.m. in the Memorial Union.
