The north entrance to the Memorial Union parking ramp will be closed starting Monday, Oct. 23.

Kathy Svec, marketing coordinator for the Union, said people can still enter from the south driveway. “The renovations of the Union will start with an excavation in the turn-around circle,” Svec said. “There will be lots of equipment in the area.”

People will still be able to walk in the area and can still enter the Union at the east door. Svec said parking will continue on the west side of the Union with the parking meters.

“We are trying to make it as easy as possible,” she said.

The entrance will be closed through the duration of the construction, which is expected to last until mid-February.
