Another tough lose for the ISU softball team

After Saturday games lose to Penn State and Central Florida the cyclones were looking for win after three straight lose today against Florida Atlantic University. it’s look promising in the beginning with a scoreless two-inning until the cyclones finally got on the broad with a Williams grounded out to second base which got Carli Spelhaug advanced to third as Ramos scored to make it 1-0 in the bottom of the 3rd inning. Then at the bottom of 5th inning, Romas was walked to advance to first base then Carli Spelhaug singled through the right side of the field as Ramos advance to third base as Spelhaug was on first then stole second which made Ramos stole home to make the score 2-0 in the 5th. Florida Atlantic tied the game at 2-2 in the 6th inning with a two-run grand slam, FAU took its first lead of the day in the 8th inning as they took a commanding lead as they scored four unanswered runs in 8th innings. Cyclone scored one more run late in the 8th inning to make the final score 6-3 as Iowa State coming back home to Ames hoping they can regroup and bound back with wins in this coming weekend games at the Gamecock Invitational in Columbia, S.C.
