Clouds, located at 119 Stanton Ave., is a unique cafe in Ames that tries to embrace coziness and relaxing away from your daily stress. This cafe also has many European style dishes and desserts that are definitely worth a try.

Since opening in the fall of 2019, Clouds has been trying to import unique and fun ideas for their customers. One of these activities is their themed dinners.

Clouds hosts themed dinners on selected weekends at 5:30 p.m. This upcoming weekend’s theme is a James Bond murder mystery.

The dinner will have an exclusive menu featuring foods that relate to the James Bond movies, including martini skewers, caprese salad, shepherd’s pie and plum pudding trifle to finish it off. The entire cafe will also be decorated to match the theme. 

Upon arrival, guests will be seated with the first course of the dinner, and will enjoy a play containing lots of audience participation. Guests will try to solve puzzles, figure out clues and ultimately guess who they think the murderer is. 

The dinner will take place at 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday. 

Student tickets are $31.90 and are non-refundable. There is also a vegetarian ticket option for $37.11.
