Limelight summer albums

Bleachers- “Gone Now”

Set to be released on June 2nd, the second album from Bleachers already has a few driving with the windows down, no hands on the wheel worthy tracks. The first single, “Hate That You Know Me” is bright and electronic, and pretty much worthy of any summer party playlist, and “Don’t Take The Money” is the song you’ll be playing when you’re driving down the highway at night with your friends or significant other, hand waving or hand holding and feeling pretty much invincible.

Saint Motel- “saint motelevision”

While this one came out during the fall of 2016, this album is full of bright tracks worthy of a day in the sun (if the songs don’t convince you, the cover art might). Once again, songs like “Getaway” and “Move” are summer playlist must-haves, and “Sweet Talk” is a piano-filled dream of a song that will make you want to dance like a fool. However, it’s “You Can Be You” that will induce the late summer’s day trance, and will leave you on a little indie pop cloud you won’t want to come down from.
