Cyclones start 0-6 in conference play

Iowa State has lost its last eight game after Sunday’s 10-2 loss to Oklahoma State.

The Cowgirl’s started the scoring early, picking up three straight runs in each of the first three innings, leading the Cyclones 3-0 going into the 4th.

The 4th inning is when OSU exploded for six runs, forcing ISU to pull starter Kristine Kimberley who allowed seven runs in her 3.2 innings of work.

The Cyclones would score runs in the 3rd and 5th inning, but the Cowgirl offense proved to be too much, scoring at least one run in each inning.

The Cyclones fell to 15-22 overall and 0-6 in the Big 12.
