Junior Perez Rotich was once again the leader for the ISU women’s cross-country team Friday at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational.

Rotich, who finished fourth overall at the Greater Louisville Classic two weekends ago, ran in sync for much of the race with redshirt sophomore Erin Hooker. The two finished 23rd and 24th for the Cyclones, respectively.

Redshirt freshman Abby Caldwell was the third ISU runner to cross the finish line at the meet, placing 57th overall with a 20:34.3 time.

Junior Maryn Lowry and freshman Becky Straw rounded out the scoring for the Cyclones, finishing 81st and 98th, respectively.

Iowa State finished with a team score of 283 points and placed seventh in the standings. No. 1 New Mexico won the meet with 32 points.
