The Iowa Special Olympics took place May 20-23, 2015, in Ames. It was a huge undertaking, with Olympians from all areas of the State participating. Cheerleaders and football and basketball players from Iowa State University interacted with the Olympians, to their great enjoyment. These Special Olympians do their best are proud of their accomplishments, and we should be, too. 

A big Thank You to everyone in Ames and elsewhere who helped organize this wonderful event.
