ISU senior Georges Niang will have the opportunity to test his skills against the best the country has to offer when he attends the Nike Basketball Academy on June 26-29.

The top 20 college players in the country were invited to the prestigious camp, where they will have the opportunity to learn from NBA stars like Lebron James and Kevin Durant.

“It’s just going to be a super cool opportunity whenever you can go,” Niang said. “Training with professionals and some of the best players in college basketball, I think it’s a great learning experience.”

This is not the first prestigious camp Niang has been invited to. Niang attended the Nike Big Man Skills Academy and the Lebron James Skills Academy last summer.

Niang said having those experiences under his belt will ease his nerves this time around.

“I probably have a pretty settled mindset,” he said. “I’m not too nervous or anything like that. You just got to go in there and play your game. I think that’s the biggest thing for me, just to go in there and show people what I can do.”

The camp will take place at the Santa Monica Airport’s Barker Hangar in Los Angeles.
