Former labor secretary Robert Reich was in Ames this past weekend. Reich has accomplished many things in his career, including:

• Chancellor’s professor of Public policy at University of California at Berkeley
• Senior Fellow at the Blum Center for Developing Economies
• Secretary of Labor in the Clinton administration
• Named by Timer Magazine as one of the ten most effective cabinet secretaries of the twentieth century
• Author of thirteen books
• Founding editor of the American Prospect magazine
• Chairman of Common Cause
• His new film is “Inequality for All”
• Awarded the Vaclav Havel Vision Foundation Prize
