Cyclones set mulltiple personal records at Tiger Track Classic

The ISU men’s track and field team set three personal records during the weekend in Auburn, Alab. at the Tiger Track Classic. 

Henry Kelly got the meet started for his team on Friday with his second personal record in as many meets in the hammer throw. He finished eighth in the competition after throwing 188.00. 

Cameron Ostrowski and Jalen Ford finished well in the the high jump in the Saturday portion of the meet. Ostrowski finished third after jumping 6 feet and 10.75 inches. Ford ended in sixth place with a leap of 6 feet and 6.75 inches.  

In the 1500-meter race, Brian Llamas broke his personal record with a 3:49.49 time. He finished fourth in the race.

Brandon Barnes followed suit in the 400-meter race, finishing with a 49.36 second time. It was also a personal record for the North Dakota native. 

The Cyclones have a chance to further improve on April 10 and 11 at the Jim Duncan Classic in Des Moines, Iowa.
