Cyclone Hockey failed to slow Robert Morris in a 3-2 shootout loss on Dec. 12 at the Ames/ISU Ice Arena.

Here are the three stars from the game.

1. Nick Ernst, Eagle forward: Ernst put in the second goal for the Eagles and also nabbed the game-winning shot in shootout.

2. Derek Winkler, Eagle forward: Winkler put the Eagles up 2-0 after taking advantage of a Cyclone mistake and finding the back of the net.

3. J.P. Kascsak, Cyclone forward: Kascsak tied the game for the Cyclones after squeezing a puck through the left goaltender pad.

The Cyclones take on the Eagles again at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 13 at the Ames/ISU Ice Arena.
