Different uses for beer

According to Paste Magazine online, beer can be used in many more ways than just to get silly. Most people can agree that actually drinking beer is the best way to use it, but there are other options. Let’s face it, most people always have some on hand so it may come in handy.

Wash your hair with some beer to make it all shiny and soft. It doesn’t matter which kind of beer, but be prepared that you probably won’t be coming out of the shower smelling like roses if you bathe with alcohol. Also if you’re feeling froggy, take a bath in beer and let the antioxidants go to work on your skin.

Most people pour their beer on the ground just for the sake of dumping it out, but beer can actually be good fertilizer for your plants. The sugar in the beer feeds the greens and helps growth.

It sounds counterproductive, but Paste Magazine says that beer helps stomachaches. The carbonation in the beer soothes your tummy in the same way Sprite does.

It’s common knowledge that beer is used in some recipes (marinade for meat, an addition to stew and chili, etc.), but adding it to your pancakes in place of milk/water makes them especially fluffy. Be prepared for a different flavor or flapjacks, though. Beer is beer for a reason.
