Quick mustache grooming tips

Christian Dahl

November is here folks, and so too, fortunately, are mustaches. Every other time of the year, one growing a mustache will receive everything from rude glimpses and gazes, to shrieks from unknown people passing by. Not everyone can grow a luscious ‘stache, if you have your doubts, read on for some assurance.

First tip is to grow out all your facial hair before rocking the mustache. Getting a nice base going can ease the pain of the initial awkward phase. Once you have this, shave off all the unnecessary hair and behold the beauty of your creation

Now it is all about sculpting. Your options are not too limited at this point, whether you want a simple, classic look, or something more obscure like the Handlebar. Be precise with your blade or all your hard work, and a proud November will go down the drain too.

The last step is maintenance and grooming. A small comb, some mustache wax and some dye (for the underclassmen) will now be your best friends. A little care every day or two will go along way.

Hopefully you have already got a bit of a start on this endeavor, but following these steps will ensure that the rest of the month goes well. And men, do not be ashamed of what you have created, embrace it and rock it with confidence.
