Iowa State announced its 2014 football schedule Tuesday, Nov. 5, featuring seven homes games at Jack Trice Stadium.

The Cyclones will open the 2014 season with a home game against North Dakota State, who is currently ranked No. 1 and is 8-0 in FCS. The other two nonconference games for Iowa State will take the team to Iowa for the annual Cy-Hawk game and bring Toledo (Family Weekend) to Ames before Big 12 play begins.

Conference play begins at Jack Trice on Sept. 27 against Baylor. Other home conference games are against Kansas State (Homecoming), Oklahoma, Texas Tech and West Virginia.

The Oklahoma game in Ames will either be played on Thursday, Oct. 30, or Saturday, Nov. 1.

Iowa State’s three bye weeks next season will be Sept. 6, Oct. 25 and Nov. 15. The Big 12 said several conference games could have date changes when national TV schedules are finalized.
