Day two of Mt. Sac Relays complete

In the second day of competition of the Mt. Sac Relays, senior Ejiro Okoro ran the third-fastest time in ISU history in the 800-meter run.

Ejiro placed first in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:05.20, one second off of her personal record.

In the first day of the Mt. Sac Relays, the Cyclones had many athletes set personal records. Sophomore Kendra White joined them while placing fifth with a personal record of 53.83 in the 400-meter dash.

On the men’s side, sophomore Nick Efkamp also ran a personal best while placing seventh in the 800-meter dash with a time of 21.18.

Freshman Jan Jeuschede placed second in the shot put with a toss of 58-00.00.

Another small group of athletes competed at the Bryan Clay Invite in Azusa, Calif. Sophomore Maggie Gannon placed first in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:28.12.

The Cyclones will continue competition Saturday at the Mt. Sac Relays as well as competing at the Beach Invite in Cerritos, Calif.
