Josh Lenz has been named the AT&T All-America Player of the Week, as voted for by ESPN, for his four-touchdown performance last week in Iowa State’s 37-23 win against TCU.

Lenz, a senior receiver, caught three touchdown passes and threw for another en route to a career-high 147 receiving yards in the win. Lenz’s first two touchdown catches — a 51-yarder in the first drive of the game and a 74-yarder after that — overtook each other as his longest touchdown catch of his career.

Lenz became the first receiver to catch more than two touchdowns since Todd Blythe hauled in four at Texas A&M in 2005.
