Tony Crocker scored 22 points, and Blake Griffin and Austin Johnson added 13 each as Oklahoma scored a 76-64 victory over Iowa State on Wednesday in Norman, Okla.

The Cyclones (13-12, 3-7 Big 12) lost their fourth straight game overall and failed to grab their first conference road win of the season.

Jiri Hubalek had another big game for Iowa State, scoring a game-high 23 points. Wesley Johnson added 10, as did Diante Garrett. Bryan Petersen scored nine.

The Cyclones kept themselves within striking distance of the Sooners (16-8, 4-5) and were behind 38-32 at the half. Twice, Iowa State was able to get within four points, once at 46-42 off of two Hubalek free throws, and once at 54-50 following a Craig Brackins jumper with 9:24 left.

Oklahoma then went on a 7-0 run, capped by Crocker’s free throws with 7:35 remaining, and the Cyclones would not recover.

Iowa State shot 44.4 percent in the first half but 35.5 percent in the second. The Cyclones seemed to have no answer for the Sooners, who had four players in double digits and shot 41.5 percent overall.

The Cyclones come home on Saturday for the 100 Years of Hoops celebration against Nebraska, which started Iowa State’s current losing streak on Feb. 2 in Lincoln.
