KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Stacey Dales proved why she was the Big 12 player of the year as she led the first-seeded Sooners to a rout of four seed Kansas State, 69-49, in a Big 12 Conference Tournament semifinal Thursday.

Dales scored a game-high 19 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out six assists. In all the Sooners assisted on 24 of their 27 baskets.

“That’s a pretty good indication of team play,” said Oklahoma head coach Sherri Coale.
