Former Cyclones preparing for draft

Two former ISU basketball players have been invited to participate in the prestigious NBA Pre-Draft Camp at the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago.

Former ISU point guard Jamaal Tinsley and former ISU forward Martin Rancik will both make appearances at the camp which started on Tuesday and will run through Saturday.

The draft will give Tinsley and Rancik a chance to raise their stock before the NBA Draft.

After impressive performances at the Portsmouth Invitational and the Nike Desert Classic, Rancik has improved his draft positioning and with a good showing in Chicago could be selected late first-round to early-sound round.

Tinsley continues to be touted as the top point guard in the draft.

The NBA Draft will take place on June 27 in New York City.
