Party with Forbes

Steve Skutnik

I hope all of you had an enjoyable winter holiday. If you’ve been keeping up with the news over break, you may have noticed that the Iowa Caucus is getting much nearer which means it’s time to begin the process of selecting our next president.

Some of you may have made up your minds already. Given the debate in both the Daily and around campus, that’s a likely possibility.

But if you haven’t, or just don’t know where the candidates stand in relation to your viewpoints, I present you an exciting opportunity.

On Saturday, Jan. 15, Iowa will once again have the chance to host all of the Republican contenders in a candidate debate that is sure to be interesting, if not exciting, given the most recent trend of the debates.

If you’d like to learn more about some of the candidates out there and who you might want to vote for, it’s a great opportunity.

But let’s face it, we’re social creatures. So, what’s better than a party to watch the debates?

Well, the Iowa Forbes 2000 campaign will be sponsoring a debate party with a chance to meet Mr. Forbes here on Saturday!

Free refreshments, hats, T-shirts and transportation to Des Moines will be provided for the great debate.

What better way to see the candidates in action and enjoy your first Saturday back at ISU than joining in the fun?

If it sounds interesting to you, RSVP by e-mailing [email protected] or call toll free at 1-877-SFORBES.

Thanks for your time, and have a great semester.
