Childhood fears — “When I was little, I was scared of Jell-O. I wouldn’t go near it; the stuff scared the crap out of me. I got over it through therapy. Bill Cosby helped me out.”

O’Malley & McGee’s Mexican Cafe — “It’s authentic Mexican; you gotta love it. It seems like a good local crowd.”

“Saving Private Ryan” — “I liked how they realistically portrayed a historical event.”

Daisy Head Mazy — “I’ve known the guys for about two and a half years. Whenever they come around we hang out. [Their music is] light-hearted stuff. It’s up-beat and pretty relaxing. One thing about them is they put on a really good show; it looks like they’re having fun. That’s key.”

White vs. wheat bread — “Definitely wheat. We’re going for the health factor, all right?”

Favorite Muppet — “It’s either Gonzo or the two guys in the balcony — those guys rock. Gonzo is Gonzo. He’s pretty laid back. He likes to have fun, and he doesn’t mind making a fool out of himself.”

Fight: Giant Gumby balloon vs. giant Felix the Cat balloon in the Veishea Parade — “Gumby would grab Pokey and kick [Felix’s] butt. I was thinking Felix because if they’re balloons, Felix has those claws. But Gumby’s got Pokey, his big dawg, to take care of business.”
