GSB concerned with discretionary fund

The Government of the Student Body made an amendment Wednesday night to hold all new funding bills for fear the discretionary fund has been depleted.

Funding bills will be held until a correct balance statement is produced. Funding will resume if a positive balance is shown by 8 a.m. Monday.

Although the amount of money in the discretionary fund was questionable, GSB passed two funding bills last night.

A bill to allocate $786 for the Agriculture Economics Quiz Bowl Team passed with a vote 22 to 3.

And a bill to allocate $1306.04 for the National Agri-Marketing Association Club trip was passed with a vote 15 to 11.
