The Fashion Show is sprouting up Pop-Up shops like crazy before The Fashion Show’s production takes center stage. The Pop-Up shops, a one-day-only merchandise shop, will feature a prom preparation shop, a trunk show and a Lululemon Athletica-themed pop-up. The Fashion Show will also sell their own merchandise, which is exclusively sold in-person.

Fashion Week starts off with the Prom Preparation Pop-Up shop on April 3 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. hosted at theSALON in Ames, located on Main Street. This pop-up will feature complimentary hair and makeup tutorials for local high school prom-goers and anyone looking for local beauty advice.

The Fashion Show’s Trunk Show, hosted by Aspen Ames on April 4 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., will feature the local-Iowa fashion of Portobello Road, Matilda Muse and Boat House Apparel.  This trunk show aims to showcase Iowa fashion, big and small.

The final Pop-Up shop will feature Lululemon Athletica Des Moines merchandise and is open to not only Iowa State students but to the public for purchase. This Pop-Up is April 6 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the 23 Twenty Apartment lobby.  Lululemon Athletica trunk shows and Pop-Up shops are nothing new to the Ames community, with popularity at Iowa State skyrocketing in recent years.

Not only will local brand-name merchandise be sold, but The Fashion Show’s exclusive merchandise will be up for grabs as well.  The Fashion Show hopes to one day sell their merchandise online, but for now only sells their merchandise in-person through these Pop-Up shops.

The Fashion Show will also be selling their apparel during this year’s production on April 8.
