Dipping the strawberries into the chocolate can be messy, but also very fun.

Spring is here and we are all very excited so it is time start with yummy recipes that will satisfy us. This delicious dessert is from Brazil and it is called Bombom de Morango, which means Chocolate/Candy Strawberries. Many of us know that this dessert is a strawberry dipped in chocolate but in Brazil they add even more sweetness.

What you need:

 Box of 20 strawberries (approx.)

 1 can of condensed milk

 1 stick of unsalted butter

 2 bars of milk or dark chocolate

 Cupcake cups

 1 sheet of wax paper

Procedure:

 Before you begin you must clean the strawberries and let them dry.

 To start you will need a small pan in which you will heat the can of condensed milk and one spoon of butter, keep this in medium heat and stir constantly.

 After five to 10 minutes the mixture should be getting thick and bubbles must be on the top. Pay attention that no brown spots are coming and if they are then turn off the stove immediately.

 After the mix is ready, pour it over a flat plate and let it cool until it is a normal temperature. Do not put it in the fridge, let it sit outside to cool. This step will take about a five minute wait.

 While this cools, start spreading out the strawberries and the cupcake cups on the table to make it easier and faster to make.

 After the mix is at the right temperature grab the stick of butter and cover the palm of both hands with butter — it might seem gross but this makes the procedure easier.

 Once the hands are covered in butter grab a small quantity of mix and place it on the palm of your hand. Shape it into a flat rectangle, enough to cover the strawberry. Then, place the strawberry on top and cover it with the mix. When a strawberry is done you can place it on top of wax paper.

 Repeat with all of the strawberries.

 Now, both of the chocolate bars have to be cut in small pieces, placed in a bowl and microwaved until it melts. Be careful because the bowl can get very hot.

 After the chocolate is done, the strawberries must be dipped in the chocolate and placed in the cupcake cups.

 Then thevBombom de Morango should be refrigerated until they are cool enough that the chocolate does not melt. Then they are ready to eat!
