Target adds to clothing collection with new collaboration

Target is one of the largest companies to consistently have collaborations with other companies. Some from the past have been with Phillip Lim, TOMS and Lilly Pulitzer. The most recent collaboration was released Sunday — Who What Wear and Target.

Who What Wear is a daily, and sometimes hourly, dose of celebrity fashion, as well as street trends and what will become popular in the seasons to come. In addition to Target’s expansive customer base, it was able to construct a line of women’s clothing and accessories that cover a wide variety of personal styles.

Inspired by fashion bloggers, the line consists of trendy of-the-moment pieces and classics that will be worn for years.

“We’ve taken our expertise as fashion editors and combined it with what our audience truly wants,” co-founder Katherine Power said in a video posted to Target’s website.

The fact that this collaboration is not a one-time only event sets it apart from previous collaborations Target has hosted.

New pieces will be launched into the collection the first week of each month. All of the pieces are also under the $50 mark, which makes them more attainable for Target’s typical consumer.

With pieces that can be worn casually every day to structured, work appropriate attire, this collection contains something for everyone. Sizes range from 2-26 with plus-size apparel sold exclusively online. Follow this link to see what the collection has to offer.
