ISU guard Naz Long’s arthoscopic surgery on his right hip Thursday morning was a success, according to a release sent by the team.

The surgery was repaired a torn labrum in his hip and was his second hip surgery after he underwent the same surgery on his left hip on April 1.

Long, a senior, was diagnosed with “hip pointer” early in the 2014-15 season.

Long will begin rehabbing on Monday in preparation for the 2015-16 season that starts on Nov. 13.
