Seven Iowa State gymnasts made their way to the NCAA regionals in Minnesota on Saturday. While the Cyclone individuals rotated with different schools, the team aspect was still there.

Freshman Meaghan Sievers and sophomore Haylee Young competed in the all-around competition.

During the fourth rotation, Sievers competed on vault. Her almost perfect routine earned a high 9.900 from the judges.

Sophomore Kelsey Paz competed on the floor event in the same rotation and earned a 9.775 for her routine.

During the fifth rotation, Young, a star in the floor event, competed and earned a 9.825 with her strong routine.

In the final rotation of the night, Young earned a 9.750 on the vault and Sievers earned a 9.775 on the bars.

Sievers’ strong vault performance earned her the top spot on the leaderboard list. In her first year of collegiate gymnastics, Sievers moved on to the NCAA Championships and will compete on April 15 in Fort Worth, Tx.
