Steve Russell, an emeritus faculty member at Iowa State, spoke in front of the Veishea task force during their open forum April 25 in the Memorial Union. Russell, an Ames resident for over 30 years, stressed that Veishea is a tradition worth keeping for the families that attend the event.

Department of Residence Director Peter Englin address GSB about the upcoming changes to Residence Halls on January 29th. Some proposed changes include the addition of a new residence hall and various renovations to older residence halls. Another announcement was the addition of 1000 new wi-fi routers to add to the already existing 769 to boost the wi-fi in dorms.
